A bit about myself
Since early childhood, I have always been obsessed with the ancient world. At the beach, rather than playing in the sand, I preferred listening to my babysitter reviewing for her Roman History exam. The past is in my blood and I fancy sharing this lifelong love of mine with whoever wants to stop by, sit down and talk.
I graduated in Ancient History at the University of Pisa (Italy) with a dissertation over the death of the Roman general and prince Germanicus. Afterwards, I attended an MA in Archaeology at University College London (UK) and specialised in Aztec history and archaeology. I then achieved a PGCE in Classics and taught Latin and Ancient History for a while, but now I have decided to become independent and write about what I like the most.
Among my interests are not only history, art and archaeology, but also philosophy, literature, travel, religion and spirituality. From the cold forests of Northern Europe to the warm shores of the Mediterranean, from the scorching deserts of the Arabian Peninsula to the pagodas of China, join me to discover more about the wonderful world we live in and the stories of who made it.
